SIBYL Stress Test Challenge -- Official Rules
Effective for the contest period: TBD through TBD
1. Sponsor
The SIBYL Stress Test Challenge (the "Contest") is sponsored by Sibyl Technologies Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Miami, Florida ("Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Residents of Florida, New York, and Rhode Island are excluded from participation due to state sweepstakes regulations.
Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members, are not eligible.
Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on TBD and ends on TBD at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Contest Period"). Entries submitted outside the Contest Period will not be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the Contest Period at its sole discretion with reasonable notice to participants.
4. How to Enter
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
- Create a free account at SibylSays.com. No credit card or payment is required.
- Use SIBYL in Deep Mode to run factual queries during the Contest Period. Each query generates a cryptographically signed Receipt ID.
- Identify a qualifying failure -- a specific, verifiable factual error in SIBYL's output that meets the Qualifying Failure Requirements below.
- Submit your entry through the Contest submission form at SibylSays.com, including all required evidence.
Limit: Two (2) submissions per day, with a maximum of thirty (30) total submissions per participant during the Contest Period.
5. Entry Requirements
Each submission must include:
- Receipt ID -- the cryptographic receipt generated by SIBYL in Deep Mode.
- Prompt -- the exact query submitted to SIBYL.
- False Claim -- the specific claim from SIBYL's output that is false, quoted verbatim.
- Sources -- two (2) or more authoritative sources proving the claim is false.
Submissions must be in English. Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
6. Qualifying Failure Requirements
To qualify, a submission must meet all of the following criteria:
- Valid Receipt ID -- generated during the Contest Period in Deep Mode. Screenshots are not accepted as proof.
- Trust Score of 80 or higher and verification status of "Verified." Results where SIBYL hedged, flagged uncertainty, or returned a lower Trust Score do not qualify.
- FCE (False Claim Evidence) format -- one atomic claim per submission. Each claim must have one subject, one predicate, and one error. Multi-claim submissions will be rejected.
- Evidence pack -- at least two (2) authoritative sources that directly contradict the false claim.
- Accepted sources include: government publications, peer-reviewed journals, court records, official statistical databases, and primary source documents. Wikipedia, forums, social media posts, and AI-generated content are not accepted.
- Reproducibility -- the failure must be reproducible via receipt replay or controlled rerun by the judging team.
7. Scoring Rubric
Each qualifying submission is scored on three dimensions for a maximum of 100 points:
| Dimension | Max Points | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Severity | 40 | 40: core conclusion is false. 25: significant error. 10: peripheral error. 0: not materially false. |
| Impact | 35 | 35: legal, medical, financial, or security consequences. 20: professional risk. 10: limited impact. 0: trivial. |
| Submission Quality | 25 | 25: clear writing, strong authoritative sourcing, reproducible. 15: strong but weaker sourcing. 5: incomplete. 0: unverifiable. |
Ties are broken by: (1) Severity score, (2) Impact score, (3) Submission Quality score, (4) earlier submission timestamp.
8. Prizes
| Place | Prize | Approx. Retail Value |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Place | $5,000 USD cash | $5,000 |
| 2nd Place | One (1) year SIBYL Pro subscription | $468 |
| 3rd Place | Three (3) months SIBYL Pro subscription | $117 |
| First 100 Verified Entries | Exclusive SIBYL hoodie | $50 |
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Cash prizes are paid via ACH or PayPal within thirty (30) days of winner verification. USD only.
9. Rejection Codes
Submissions that do not meet the qualifying requirements will be rejected with one of the following codes:
| Code | Reason |
|---|---|
| R1 | Missing or invalid Receipt ID |
| R2 | Trust Score below 80 or Status not "Verified" |
| R3 | Claim not atomic (more than one claim) |
| R4 | Proof insufficient or sources unacceptable |
| R5 | Claim not materially false (opinion/ambiguity) |
| R6 | Not reproducible via replay or rerun |
| R7 | Duplicate submission (fingerprint match) |
| R8 | Disallowed content or prohibited technique |
| R9 | Suspected fraud, automation, or multi-account |
10. Judging Process
- Submission received and logged. Every submission is timestamped on receipt.
- Receipt verification. The judging team replays the Receipt ID to confirm the failure is real and reproducible.
- Human scoring review. Qualifying submissions are scored by a human judge on the three dimensions described in Section 7.
- Review complete within 72 hours. Participants receive a status update by email within 72 hours of submission.
- Duplicate handling. If multiple participants submit the same failure, only the first verified submission receives a score. Later duplicates are rejected with code R7.
11. Appeals
Participants may appeal one (1) rejection per submission within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the rejection notification. Appeals must be submitted via the Contest submission portal and must include additional evidence or clarification addressing the specific rejection code.
Appeals are reviewed by a different judge than the original reviewer. The appeal decision is final and not subject to further review.
12. Taxes and Winner Notification
All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be required to complete IRS Form W-9 before prize fulfillment. Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC as required by law.
Potential winners will be notified by email within fourteen (14) days of the conclusion of judging. Winners must respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours and complete identity verification and any required tax documentation within seven (7) days.
If a potential winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, or if any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest-scoring eligible submission.
